Date: 30 September-03 October 2021

Place: Intercity İstanbul Park-Tuzla, Istanbul/Turkey

After an exciting race at Istanbul Park circuit last year, Formula 1 has confirmed that the Turkish Grand Prix will return to the 2021 calendar this October. Turkey's Intercity Istanbul Park, widely considered one of the most challenging modern race tracks in the world, will host again the Turkish Grand Prix which will be run on 30 September to 3 October 2021!

Turkey replaces the Singapore Grand Prix, which was due to be held on the same weekend. Turkey had previously been scheduled to hold a race in June, but this was postponed due to international travel restrictions. The race is being to be held at the Istanbul Park circuit, about 45km southwest of Turkey's biggest city. The anti-clockwise 5.338km circuit cost a reported 300m USD when it was built in 2005 and features 14 turns, including the legendary Turn 8 with four apexes. Considered one of the best modern circuit designs by Hermann Tilke, Istanbul Park hosted the Turkish Formula 1 Grand Prix for seven years from 2005-2011. Felipe Massa, who won the event three times in succession on 2005-2007, is the only driver to have achieved more than one victory in Turkey. Istanbul Park made a surprise return to the Formula 1 calendar in 2020 and delivered one of the season's most exciting races. After Lance Stroll took a surprise maiden pole position for Racing Point on Saturday, Lewis Hamilton mastered the wet and slippery conditions to record what many observers believed to be one of his finest F1 victories – and wrapped up his seventh World Championship in the process!

Last year's race was held behind closed doors, but now it is expected that fans will be able to attend the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix. Istanbul Park, which can accommodate in excess of 200.000 fans, has one of the largest spectator capacities of any current Formula 1 circuit. In the 3-day long Formula 1™ Turkish Grand Prix 2021, 20 pilots from 10 different teams will take part in a breathtaking challenge. Official Ticket Packages for the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix are now on sale on Biletix. The event has implemented all measures laid out by the Turkish Ministry of Health in the "Covid-19 Outbreak Management and Study Guide" as well as the "Covid-19 Measures Guide" created by FIA.
