Gate Visa for Turkish Tourists to 10 Greek Islands

Greece introduces fast-track visa for Turkish tourists to 10 Greek islands!

Hotel owners on the Greek islands are of the opinion that the deficit caused by the lack of Israeli tourists who cannot come due to the war will be filled by the Turks and the local economy will benefit greatly from this. Greek authorities' one-week visa application for Turkish tourists for 10 Greek islands starts at the beginning of March. Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, whom President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met in Athens at the end of last year, announced that "one-week visa application will be applied for Turkish tourists at the gate in the Greek islands." The seven-day gate-visa will facilitate access to 10 Greek islands such as: Kalymnos, Limnos, Leros, Kos, Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Rhodes, Symi and Kastellorizo, all close to the Turkish coast and historically popular to Turkish visitors.

What is required for a gate visa?
